We had a blast with Mark and he put us on the fish. 40 plus in three hours then a 100 minutes tussle with a big Tarpon. Had a great time!
Captain Mike put us on some fun fish today in Islamorada. We launched out of the World Wide Sportsman Marina and made some pit stops throughout the keys and Everglades National Park. We got to see some of the aftermath left from Hurricane Irma. We caught Spanish Mackeral, yellow tail snapper, ladyfish, a bonnet head shark, amber jack, and pompano. We saw a cobia and tons of tarpon but we didn’t bring any in the boat. It was a very successful day. My favorite part was seeing the water! It was the most beautiful electric turquoise color ever.

We had an awesome time with Captain Mark. First he put us on sea trout and mangrove snappers. We were on the fish the moment the line touched the water. After getting our limit we moved on to big fish and caught sharks. I told him I was interested in a snook and he then set off to various spots in search of them. He is a great teacher and knows where the fish are. I will book another trip with him when I return to the keys. Wonderful trip all around.
My son (13) and I had a great day on the water with Captain Mark. Captain Mark was at the dock on time, winds were blowing strong in the morning so we decided to head a good ways into the back country. Our goal was dinner and a shark and Captain Mark did not disappoint! We caught our limit of snapper which made for a great meal that night and we landed 3 huge bull sharks 7ft, 8ft and 9ft. Captain Mark was great at instructing us and being patient when we snagged a tree or tangled a line. He is very knowledgeable of the area and was a great guide, we will definitely be booking again when we return.

My son and i had a great time out with Captain Mark. This was our second trip with him and just like the first time, this trip did not disappoint. We were on fish right away and it lasted until the end when we decided to try for a “memory”. We were able to land a 4’ barracuda to finish the trip. My son is 10 and Captain Mark did a great job of teaching and interacting with him. My son had such a great time he never stopped talking and asking questions the entire 4 hour trip. Captain Mark had a lot of patience with him, told a bunch of good stories and taught him about the fish we caught. We will absolutely be back again.

Captain Mark is wonderful guy. We took our 2 recently graduated boys down for a 1/2 day fishing. Captain Mark made sure that he took them where they would catch legal “small fish” (sea trout, reds, snapper, etc). Let them catch bait for the “big fish”. Each of us caught a big fish. One of the boys hadn’t caught anything at the end of the tour and Captain Mark was free for the afternoon so we stayed a while longer. He caught a 60 lb ray. It made his trip. Excited is not enough of a word to describe how he felt. I went last. Just let me leave u with a bit of advice. Wear good deck shoes. I landed a 100lb shark who drug me to the back of the boat where I jammed (oblique fractured) my toe. I held on and got my fish despite my broken toe. I should have had on shoes. It was of no fault on Captains part. Also, he is an ex vet and is involved with vets and a program he started for him. He’s a great guide. I would recommend him to anyone. Yes u can get a cheaper tour but u don’t get to know ur Captain or have special attention when u have a fish on. He is dedicated to making sure u have a great day fishing and making memories. Thanks Captain Mark. Our boys will never forget their graduation presents.
