We had a blast with Mark and he put us on the fish. 40 plus in three hours then a 100 minutes tussle with a big Tarpon. Had a great time!
Captain Mark is wonderful guy. We took our 2 recently graduated boys down for a 1/2 day fishing. Captain Mark made sure that he took them where they would catch legal “small fish” (sea trout, reds, snapper, etc). Let them catch bait for the “big fish”. Each of us caught a big fish. One of the boys hadn’t caught anything at the end of the tour and Captain Mark was free for the afternoon so we stayed a while longer. He caught a 60 lb ray. It made his trip. Excited is not enough of a word to describe how he felt. I went last. Just let me leave u with a bit of advice. Wear good deck shoes. I landed a 100lb shark who drug me to the back of the boat where I jammed (oblique fractured) my toe. I held on and got my fish despite my broken toe. I should have had on shoes. It was of no fault on Captains part. Also, he is an ex vet and is involved with vets and a program he started for him. He’s a great guide. I would recommend him to anyone. Yes u can get a cheaper tour but u don’t get to know ur Captain or have special attention when u have a fish on. He is dedicated to making sure u have a great day fishing and making memories. Thanks Captain Mark. Our boys will never forget their graduation presents.

Captain Mark knows how to fish. We had an action packed two days catching snook, sea trout, sharks, cobia, jacks, snapper, and even hooked into a few tarpon. If the fish were not biting in a certain spot, Captain Mike moved us until we found fish. He is not afraid to make long runs in search of our target species. His knowledge of the waters is endless and his passion for the sport was evident the entire time. He kept our hooks baited and our lines in the water. Captain Mark kept his boat clean and his equipment in good working order. Although we were not successful in landing our desired tarpon, we will definitely be coming back to Captain Mark to give it another shot. All three of us were very satisfied with our trip.

I really cannot recommend Captain Mark enough. We went out on a day that was less than stellar, wind were blowing at 20mph causing white caps on what is normally perfectly flat water. I had asked Captain Mark to get us on any sort of fish just so my 5 year old could catch something. HE DELIVERED! We caught a total of 40 fish and probably close to 10 species. My son cant stop talking the moon fish. He was so patient with my son and really made him a big part of the trip. If you have younger kids and want to take them out I can really recommend Captain Mark. If we make it to the Keys again I will be asking Mark to take us again.
The other thing that I feel really sets Captain Mark apart is his dedication to veterans. Thanks Mark for all you do!

Fantastic day fishing. Started with Spanish Mackerel, after 75 keeping a few of the larger ones, we moved on just to add some challenge. Next stop, 40+ Jacks, a handful of mixed varieties of Snapper, one Ladyfish incredible jumper and one huge Pompano. Day running down to the the last hour, go for a new challenge. Limit out on large Pompano picking and choosing only the largest to keep. Another dozen Jacks in the process. All totaled, roughly 200 fish. Incredible day. Mark, remember to have a spare pair of gloves on board. Sorry to give you so much work at the end of the day filleting. Good problems, right!

Our family of four (daughter 10 and son 8) went out with Capt Mike and we hit it off right away. We have been on quite a few charters in the Keys and this one was by far the best for one reason - Capt Mike is amazing with kids. He spent a lot of time helping them learn how to do all of the things you have to do while fishing. The kids both caught lots of fish (and several big ones) and we had a lot of laughs. We will be going out with Capt Mike again on our next trip to the Keys!
I had a blast. I love it when kids catch a memory. This family was a joy to work with. I hope to see you all again. By the way it is Capt. Mark. lol. Happens alot!
