We were out for a 5hrs half day trip. After an hour out we started catching the skipjack tuna. We caught 12 and the fish stopped bitting. We then had a strike of Marlin on the short corner line. The 80 pounds reel started singing. We cleared all the other lines and were ready for the fight. About 600 to 700 meters of line was out. We started moving backwards on the fish to get some line. We saw a massive blue marlin jumping. After 30 mins of fight the fish dived down. It was extremely heavy. The fight lasted 2hours. When arriving next to the boat the massive fish was already dead. We were back in the lagoon with some nice catch
