It was a total Roosterfish fest yesterday for Tom & Tim aboard GOOD DAY during their second day of fishing here at Marina Pez Vela Costa Rica yesterday. The guys released 7 Roosterfish, the size and quality of the fish was just excellent. What a total blast they had catching Roosters on light tackle, they were just in awe at how hard they fight. The guys aboard Bucketlist caught 8 Roosters, 1 Snapper, 2 Mackerel & 1 Inshore Marlin (aka Needlefish ?) The rest of the guys aboard Swordfish fished Offshore & had an amazing day catching 2 Sailfish on the Fly, plus 1 Blue Marlin, 6 Tuna & 2 Dorados on conventional tackle. Huge congrats to T om For his first TWO Sailfish on the Fly! Just fantastic stuff after he lost 3 on the Fly with us the previous day. A perfect couple of days Fishing with just a great group of guys who are having a total blast here in Costa Rica, check out the waterfall & sunset pics! ???
