Seas were rough but the captain put us on some nice sized Dorados! Would go again for sure!
My wife and I booked a half day with this boat in the am. The Capt and first mate were ready and we left right on time. The explained anything we asked about the gear or type of fish we wanted to go for. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . Trolling lures going out we caught 2 nice size Dorados . Once further out we used live bait and caught and released a small stripped marlin and then a short time later landed my first trophy sized marlin. 8 ft long 120 lbs. Very exciting ! We saw several whales only about 50 yards away. On the way back took pics by the arch with our catch . My wife got to feed the extra live bait to pelicans and sea lions swimming next to the boat. All in all a great outing and we would not hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to other friends visiting Cabo .

We had a wonderful time fishing on the La Guaycura. We had a few bites and all in all we ended up with two Mahi Mahi. The captain even kept us out a little longer to try for Marlin, but no luck. The crew has water and can pick up beers (for an extra fee of $15 per person for 12) for you. They offer box lunches but not worth it honestly ($15 per person for a dry sandwhich and chips) Best to make sure to bring your own snacks. But the crew was lovely to spend the day with and made sure to attend to anything we might want. Great music, put the shade up to help with the sun, made jokes. It was a gret day

Wonderful fishing trip with Captain Jose and First Mate Aaron. We had caught large marlin and sailfish in the past here in Cabo and elsewhere and wanted to try inshore or nearshore for other species. The crew went beyond anything we expected with 5 different species on a half day trip.
1 dorado 20” 1 Mahi 28” 1 Grouper 14” 1 Cravelle Jack 36” long and 35-40 lbs 10 bonito 1 giant fish that got loose
The lunches they provided were delicious and more than enough. Absolutely fabulous day on the La Guaycura.

We did a half day with La Guaycura Sports Fishing and we had a blast. We asked to fish for dorado and that is all we caught, it couldn’t have gone better. The 3 of us caught 5 dorado and even saw some whales & dolphins. Our capt. and his crewman (Jose) were as helpful as you could be, all we had to do was sit back, relax, and wait to hook on. Communicating with La Guaycura Sports Fishing was excellent as well, very responsive. Overall a great option for a day on the water.
