Caught 9 Bonita and had a nice yellow tail on but a sea lion grabbed it while reeling in and stole it, but was still fun fighting the sea lion. Also had 2 marlins hooked up. Did not land the marlin but it was an excellent trip. Boat captain and deck hand worked very hard to get us fish and tried many different methods of fishing.

Our family of 4 charted half a day fishing w/ Ismael. Not only were he and his helper incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time, we had a very successful day and caught 15 bonitos and couple other small fishes. We also saw whales and lost 2 fish to sea lions, which made the experience even better. We ended up having fantastic meals with our fish for the next 3 days. Though we didn’t catch any yellowtail which we were looking forward to, all of us finished with huge smile on our faces.

I booked a half day trip for my husband’s birthday for him and our son. They returned with 7 tuna that we had for dinner that night! It was delicious. I was somewhat disappointed that the only refreshments on the boat for a 6 hour trip was bottled water. Had I known, I would have packed lunches for them. From our greetings at the marina to trolling the crew, equipment, and hospitality was amazing! Kellyfish knew how to put us on Bull Mahi, Rooster Fish and our last hook up was a huge marlin. To say the least we had an amazing day. Our 10 year olds were shown the ropes and brought in the catch of a lifetime. Highly recommend!
