Thanks… We will be proud to take you fishing again next time…. Bruno
A choppy day out at sea today fishing the reef. We caught a few sea bream, small snapper and a horse mackerel which were cooked later for lunch. It was a shame the sea was rough and we had to come back but there is always next time.
Will look forward to deep sea fishing and targeting shark next time I am in Tavira.
As they say, a day fishing is always better then a day not fishing.

Tanks for chossing us to spend a nice day fishing… But this time “Poseidon” did not help…. You are welcome to come with us next time… Best Regards
Before reading further note that the trip was changed from drifting for Mako to trolling for Bluefin tuna, as per Captain Bruno suggestion.
My overall rating is just 2 starts, because we did not get any hits on the heavy rods and the boat was not ready for change of tactics. The trip is a gamble, if the fish is in top water chances are you hit, else it’s a sure miss. In my humble opinion of fresh water fisherman a down-rigger might have helped in warm waters like today.
Kudos to Captain Bruno for the extra time trolling to find us a decent size fish. We ended up hitting a couple of 1kg tunas, trollerd around the school for Merlin , but no luck. So until next time, I think I would le to do the drift for shark.
Expensive trolling charters should have back up plan for some game fishing on ligther rods.
Last note please change description to show no snack or lanch is included. We end up splitting the crew food, no place to purchace in open water.

Big Game Fishing it is a fish of a lifetime, and you do not get those avery day. All trips are a gamble, most of the time we find the fish, on the priviest 4 trips, we has 2 Bluefin tunas of 240lbs and 320lbs, released a White Marlin on Sunday and a Blue Marlin on Monday.
We are there to get the big fish, not to change tactics and get little tuny, we have a special trip just for those, maybe you should try it.
Hope you can go on the charters to catch blue sharks, or a Mako shark… just do not call it big game fishing…
About the snacks, we always have plenty on board, to when the clients forget, or to when we extend the fishing hours…
Better luck next time…
Bruno
