Took a group out last night, the beginning was a little slow but we caught a nice 26 inch drum and a 4.5 lb pound speckled trout! Pretty work boys!

I hope everyone’s ready for another great year of fishing! The trout bite is picking up in the creeks and River mouths. As the water temperature warms up, the fish will start moving back across to the east side of the sound.

The trout bite is picking up! As the waters of the pamlico are slowy warming up, so is the speckled trout bite! There has been some awesome fish being caught. Many over 20” The Redfish are also beginning their migration from the ocean into the backwaters to spawn!
