The bass were hungry today. Took Wayne and Tom to one of my favorite everglades bass holes and we caught over 30 fish on a half day trip. Top water action never slowed down. They were still hitting top water baits when we left

Caught 56 Bass on yesterday's trip. a dozen over 5 lbs. A couple 8 pounders and a solid 10.. Jan and Feb are good months to Bass fish on Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades. The cooler weather makes for a more pleasant day with no bugs.

The weather is absolutely perfect for fishing Lake Okeechobee. No bugs to bug us and the fish are chewing on almost anything you try to feed them. Soft weedless plastics seem to be the most productive. Had a great day fishing with Chris ion the south side of the lake catching 30 plus fish.

The wind has been changing directions every day this past week. the temperatures are cold then hot . 6 guys from Miami went out dressed for a blizzard and then by the end of the day were stripped down to shorts and t-shirts. We had a fun day catching Kingfish and Bonitas. The sailfish eluded us but not before eating some of our baits.
