Blasted across the flat calm biscayne out to haulover inlet looking for Max’s redemption on Tarpon. As we set out the first drift large jacks started to burst the bait fish scattering the weed as they fevered into a feeding frenzy on the bait fish. Max cast out the Paddle tail and immediately hooked up to a nice size jack. The flat line went of next and it was a decent size barracuda.
The sunset and we decided that the fish maybe more to the south and we made our next move. Making the run down south to government cut.
The spread of baits went out and within a few minutes we hooked up to the first Tarpon.
The rod looked like a candy cane as the Tarpon headed for the horizon.
Poor max couldn’t get the rod out the holder.
The Tarpon took us out to the middle of the Channel and went deep.
Sounding to 50ft and the fight went on vertical. This continued into a 3-5 chop
