If you are planning on fishing early season, make sure to pack appropriately. Cold weather gear will most likely be needed.

September is a very good time if you are looking to cat stripped bass or bluefish

As usual. Follow the birds and the tide. We had a great time, fished near the east end of the canal and out around Race Point. Full day of fishing, worth every minute.

Follow the Captain's information closely as to the fish you are going to target in order to manage your expectations. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to pull lobster pots as expected.

We did well in September, but the captain said June and July would be better for Haddock. Even though we caught some haddock, we hope to be back during peak season.

September fishing is hit or miss but Captain Paul put us onto some big blue fish and we had a great day of it.

Definitely go with St. Pete charters and pay attention to the gear list and directions with regard to sun screen etc. This will make things much more fun for you. Captain Doug will ensure you have a great time!!!

Make sure you dress appropriately. You can always take clothes off. Also you never know fog and mist conditions once your on the water so bring a rain/windbreaker type jacket. That being said be prepared for sun. Doesn't take long on the water to burn. Bring some snacks and hydrating beverages as well as your cocktails. Have fun and enjoy the day on the water if the fish or biting or not. It is what it is nature does what it wants. Cheers

Get the morning charter, fish is active and you can enjoy nice cool morning cruise of the bay.

After heavy rains in the area, feedings may take a day or two to get back to normal.

Excellent conditions. A million biting big fish out there! Loved every minute of it!!
