Historic Downtown Savannah is the place to be! Don't leave your Wife without a car! I'll be happy to pick you up downtown or wherever you're staying during your time here and drop you back of when our trip is over! Part of the unique experience when fishing the surrounding waters of Savannah Georgia is that there is incredible sights and activities during your time off the water. I'll work with you to make your trip as convenient and easy as possible. I work with hotels downtown, to allow skiff parking early in the morning and drop off later in the day. Take your time and get some breakfast and coffee and then we'll get after it!

Fishing has been steady despite the cold. During the winter months, lowcountry Redfish school up in large numbers. If conditions are right, large groups can be found on the flats in "gin-clear" water. If the flats aren't in the cards, the shallow water creeks and canals hold great numbers of fish that are eager to eat soft plastics or flies!

Max with a nice brackish water Red, sight-casted in shallow water. The cooler water temps made for some BIG eats! Clean water and hungry fish as the high sun warmed the muddy bottom.

Wesley with a personal best fish on the fly rod. It's always a special trip with young Anglers on the bow. Wesley has fished with me several times, improving his casting techniques and abilities, ultimately achieving his goal of sight-casting to a Redfish with his fly rod. Not only his personal best, but well into the double digits on numbers this day. All fish safely caught and released to grow and catch another day! Nice work Wesley!

We had an incredible Tarpon season in 2023, with a great number of fish jumped on both light tackle and fly. Georgia's Tarpon season is best between July and September and offers anglers with sight fishing opportunities at large fish that can be eager to eat. When the weather and tides are right, working the beaches and inlets can offer the angler great opportunities at rolling or laid up Tarpon. Summer cannot get here soon enough!
