Birthday Bass with my client, Jonas Temp

My client Jonas & I were fishing south Delta & on his 1st cast with a KVD 1.5 Delta Red square-bill crank bait, he hooked on to this beautiful 5 pound Largemouth female bass! This fish is now his personal best (PB) catch with many more to be caught on a later date & time. He not only caught that 5 pounder, he hooked up on a solid 3 pounder as well! Great job Jonas!

The fish were biting fast and furious, on almost every single cast on finesse, crankbait, & top water frog apllications. My cliient, Shaun was so happy he did’t know what to do with himself & went home with experience of a child on Christmas morning!! With the fall bite around the corner, the Delta has so much to offer. I can provide the necessary knowledge and a story & pictures for you to write home about!!!

My teenage son and I had a great time with Captain Frank for our first bass fishing trip! Our initial trip date had to be canceled because of severe storm. He made it easy to reschedule to another day later in the week. We caught one largemouth bass and one striped bass in February. Captain Frank is a pro bass fisherman, knows his stuff well, and knows the Delta very well. He was a great teacher and coach to teach new skills or hone existing ones. Very nice bass boat. Captain Frank put us on fish right away. Helped me correct my technique and I started catching fish. We used topwater frogs, chatterbaits, neko rigs, and drop shots. It was too cool for frogs, but I caught fish on everything else. His boat is the nicest boat I’ve been on(even though I own one myself). Frank is a great guide with top shelf equipment and the Delta is a great spot for bass. The bite was off a bit, so we only boated a few decent-sized largemouth, but you can’t control that. Overall, highly recommended.
