Captain and First Mate were awesome!! They knew the right spots to go to and kept our lines ready to go. We stayed busy reeling in the fishes!
Dylan (First Mate) was fantastic and kept moving the whole time. He was able to answer all our questions and can seriously cut up some fillets. Thank you!
Captain Reid kept us moving to different spots to ensure we were able to find fish. We had some pesky but adorable dolphins, hijack our fish on the way up and Reid was able to keep moving us around and out run the annoying bandits.
These two guys were personable, helpful, and a pleasure to spend the day with. Thank you both so much!

My family and I set up 2, 5-hour trips with Captain Phillips and both trips went well.  This first trip the waters were very calm and we had 3 first timers on the boat.  Dylan did an excellent job of keeping them fishing while Captain Phillips put over the fish.  We were able to catch a limit.  The second trip was a bit more intriguing.  We had storms all around and the swells were high.  Captain Phillips was able to navigate the boat through the storms and put over fish.  Randy kept our tackle baited and made all necessary line repairs when needed.  The sea was angry, but we caught a limit that day as well.  I would definitely recommend Captain Phillips and his boat Rewind.  Good times!

I’m angry that I didn’t know the 1st mate was Captain Reid’s son!! I would’ve given him some more money!! I’m serious. Send me the kid’s Zelle please!! Name and Zelle info!!! I will 100% use him again after I/we had an awful experience with a nearby Charter last year. The first mate asked me what I was expecting and then s few moments later he was talking to Pops and the trip was to our liking!!

Booking was easy. Boat was old, but in descent shape.Communication with Captain Reid was a challenge. Despite several unanswered texts and voicemails (weather was iffy and we had to drive from Santa Rosa Beach) we decided to show up at the boat anyway. At the last minute Reid and his first mate (Dylan) showed up. Captain Reid was either hungover, tired, sick, or just didn’t want to be bothered. His answer to what little conversation I attempted was short and discouraged. In fairness we paid to fish, not to talk He definitely put us on the fish. Dylan was excellent!. Overall, I would recommend this trip if fishing is the only thing you want out of a fishing trip.

Captain Reid knows where the fish are and also how to avoid the rough water if possible. Dylan is great with the family and keeps bait in everyone’s hook and manages the process of deciding what can stay and what has to go. We probably ended up catching 60+ fish during our 8 hour trip - everything from lots of red snapper (unfortunately too early to keep them) to Trigger fish and other keepable species of snapper. Highlight of the trip was hooking a 6-7 foot shark that we fought to the surface and then had to release. Was great fun to battle such a massive fish for so long.

When we are back in Destin we will definitely go out with Captain Reid again.
