Our Ice Fishing Trip with Captain Justin was an excellent experience. It was our first time ice fishing and he took the time to explain each step of the process, make recommendations for gear and supplies, and explain every method of ice fishing. He provided many tips and tricks for tip up fishing, dead sticking, and jigging, including demonstrating how to jig with the help of a fish finder. He and the assistant guide set up many tip ups and checked them often to make sure they were still baited. When the fish stopped biting at our first location he offered to switch us to a new location where we caught over a dozen fish, which he filleted for us. Throughout the trip he checked in often to make sure we were comfortable and warm, and had a heated shanty set up for us to take breaks in. Our original date was too windy to go out so they accommodated us on another boat in a different harbor the next day. The guys were so extremely nice and cared about our experience. We had kids with us and they were great with them. We ended up catching 4 fish, 3 that we kept and had filleted. I highly recommend

My Dad (who is 89 years old) and I had a memorable morning in the water with Justin.  Justin was patient, professional and very knowledgeable.  I learned much about fishing for the brown trout and salmon here in Lake Ontario.  I don’t know how many more fishing adventures I have left with my Dad, but today was a blessing.  Thank you” Justin for the experience - and the fun on the water today.  I highly recommend this outfitting guide, and look forward to a return trip!
