I would recommend going out with Captain Ed to anyone out there who is looking for a fun fishing trip on a awesome boat and a Captain who knows what they’re doing!  You could definitely tell his passion for fishing. For something that he does every day he was enjoying it just as much as we were and we only get to do it once a year!  We told him what we wanted to catch and within five minutes of dropping lines early in the morning we were already hooked up and reeling them in as fast as we could!  I promise you will not be disappointed if you go with captain Ed.  My family and I will always use him from here on out every year we come down.

Literally one of the very best charters I have been on. Filled the cooler with red eye snapper, then went and played with big Red Snapper. After that, went and filled another cooler with Jacks and played with some barracuda. Ed really knows these waters and did exactly what we asked. He was also very accommodating to the three rookies that were on the trip. There was even a 200-300 pound Goliath grouper that wanted to play. We will absolutely be doing this again !!

Of all the charters we have been on, our trip with Ed and Jet has been the best. They know where the fish are at and we ended up catching every thing that we wanted to even though he said the mahi were hit or miss we got about 5 of them in the first hour and still had time to target some other species that we could bring home to eat well we still had a pretty damn good haul even considering all the fish that were lost to the sharks. We All thought that the boat was really nice as well

Our day started good, we found the boat and it’s very nice, captain and his son were cool. We set out and got a few miles offshore and dropped lines in. Seemed like we didn’t try for very long in the first two spots we stopped, maybe 20 minutes each. Then since we had no bites they decided to troll and that’s all we did for the rest of our time. Next thing we know they said it was time to head in. We were really disappointed as this part of our trip was really the whole reason we traveled to Florida in the first place. I completely realize it’s fishing and you don’t always carch something but this didn’t even seem like we were trying. They told us the 4 hour trip is always tough to make it work…...ummmmm, why weren’t we told that or why do they offer it then?? When we docked i wasn’t offered any discount. I understand they did take us out and we kinda fished and I paid without question but an offer of a discount would’ve been proper given the circumstances. We will try again just bot with Tails Up Charters.

We had an amazing time this morning! Captain Ed Jr was extremely well with my son who was celebrating his 11th birthday! He and his first mate Hunter explained how to use the equipment and the different types of fish in the area for this time of the year! They were very knowledgeable about everything we asked. We 100% recommend giving them the chance to put you on some fish!!

**At the beginning of the trip and throughout they consistently would ask if we all were doing okay and how we were feeling about the ride. Thankfully everyone was good the entire trip and we all had a great time!!**
