- Captain Sammy grew up in Galveston and has been fishing the waters of Galveston Bay for over 20 years. What he finds the most rewarding about his job is the ability to get people outdoors to relax and let go of everything. He specifically likes taking kids out, teaching them how to be better anglers, and getting them away from their computers! Also, making new friends and building relationships while having fun is important to him. The fish, at the end of the day, is a reward.

- May until October I usually throw live bait. October thru April I usually throw artificial. We have better success on our wading trips but also catch plenty of fish from the boat.
