My teenage son and I took our first offshore fishing trip with Capt. Doug and first mate Dave and had an awesome day!  They are both experienced, helpful, encouraging, informative, friendly, and fun.  They knew where to find the fish.  We caught or reeled in mahi mahi, king mackerel, cobia, and barracuda.  We also learned how challenging it is to reel in two, stubborn, 7-8 ft. sharks. Thanks again Capt. Doug and Dave for an amazing adventure!  We hope to be able to fish with Salty Fin Charters again!!

I wish I had the time to write the entire story but just know that they were kind and courteous of everyone that we had on board and we caught a bunch of big fish and that’s all that we were meant to do. Would recommend 10 times over and we will be back again. See you all soon, tight lines. Photos attached. We had a great day with Captain Doug and first mate David.  It was our first experience with a deep sea fishing trip.  Captain Doug and David worked hard to find fish, big and small but easy for boys to catch.  They kept fresh bait on our hooks, taught boys how to fish for bait, and adjusted to our needs all throughout the day.  We had a great time as a family and the boys loved eating their catch.  We were amazed how fresh fish, even barracuda, and sea bass, taste with some simple beer batter and deep frying.  Fresh fish is mild and light!  It was truly delicious.  We will go with them again on future adventures.

This was by far one of the best experiences ever. The boat was amazing very well set up and equipped. Capt Doug and Dave are great people and know what they are doing. Will be headed back as soon as possible. Probably for the Gulf stream charter!
