Lil Joe is an all around great captain. He has a lot of experience in these waters and we caught a lot of fish when other boats weren’t catching anything. We felt very safe with his navigation skills and his equipment was well maintained and top of the line. He’s very personable and has a lot of knowledge regarding fish species, target bait and target catch.  He gave us tips on great ways to prepare our catch that were delicious! He’s a seasoned expert and an overall great guy!

Lil Joe provided a top notch service for me and my three boys. He was extremely patient, answering our questions and teaching us how to hook and land red drum.  Everything that was posted in the fishing booker profile regarding what is provided is accurate - all we had to do was show up with our drinks and snacks. Lil Joe was mindful of our safety and kept a close eye on the weather. Overall, it was a great experience. We left with 5 red fish, some of which we had cooked at Virginia’s in Port Aransas, a recommendation made by Lil Joe, to enjoy with the rest of the family. Though we arrived as customers, I’m pretty sure we left as friends. I would recommend Lil Joe to anyone looking for a good experience on a bay trip. Especially, if you have kids. He was great with my boys.

We spent the morning with Captain Joe Wilson in Aransas Bay.  Caught more than our share so threw some back, gave some away, and ate the rest for My husband’s 81st birthday.  Trout & Redfish, plus hardhead catfish we threw back.  We enjoyed seeing sunrise, dolphins, beautiful birds, and being on the water.  Captain Joe is a fish finder extraordinaire.  He cleaned & fileted for us.  Would highly recommend & fish with Joe again.  Thanks Captain Joe😎

Our family had a great time fishing with Lil Joe’s guide service. We would definitely recommend him. He knows his stuff and is very kind. Took our family of four out and caught some Redfish and had a blast! We will definitely be back.

We had a great morning with Captain Joe on the bay. He put us on fish almost immediately and we were able to take home 9 beautiful reds. Also reeled in dozen or so hard heads, a flounder, and a couple unsuspecting crabs. We were with our two young kiddos and he was super patient with them, explaining the technique and navigating their crazy impatience! Great trip.
