Captain Mike is experienced and by far the best captain on Lake Michigan and the St Joe river. I’ve fished with him several times and have never been disappointed. I’ve been out on the st Joseph river 4-5 times and lake Michigan 4-5 times with Captain Mike. Every trip is a memorable experience! We had the opportunity to go on an early morning trip with Captain Mike. It was cool and rainy that morning but the fish were biting. We had a great experience. Mike and the crew had everything ready and prepped. Safety and comfort were obvious priority throughout the trip. My wife and I were not prepared for the weather and he had rain gear for us. We were comfortable though inside the cabin while we were waiting to fish. It did not take long for him to put us on the fish. My wife was a beginner and got excellent coaching on how to handle the Rod. We landed plenty of fish and dreams came true that day.  I won’t go out on any other boat from now on.
