Hintergrund: Captain Matthew Champion moved to Destin in 1987. His father took him fishing here and he knew fishing is what he would be doing for the rest of his life. In 1993, he got his first job on a party boat. Throughout his career, Capt. Matt has worked on party boats, commercial vessels fishing for snapper and grouper, and private charters. He caught so many fish in his life that he doesn't need to catch another one, but seeing the happiness in his customers' eyes while fishing is everything to him. Captain Matt has placed and won several tournaments, including five, 1st place finishes and one, 2nd place finish in the 2016 Destin deep sea Fishing Rodeo.
Methoden: I have a unique style in between high end sport fish yachts and very good bottom fishing mixed in.

It was a all around fun trip. Boat was in good shape a few of the rods and reels were older but worked fine. When I first booked the trip it was for bill fish bc I was told it was the best time of year to catch them. Day of trip capt said he new one warm spot of water that may would hold a sword but recommend not trying it so it turned into a a red snapper trip more then anything. Couldn’t have asked for a better snapper trip 2 day limits and a bunch of grouper. But all and all It was good trip... Mehr

Prior to departing, we discussed the options thoroughly as to what the fishing would be like, with the severe storm that had pushed through the day before & made the water dirty & green you chose the option with more action, which was what we did and to me looks like an outstanding trip!
