Capt. Ryan showed me and my father in law a great time on Lake Erie. Even with tough conditions he managed to put us on fish. While we caught no whales we did manage to catch a few for the cooler one of which was the smallest Lake Trout he had ever seen 😂. Capt. Ryan works tirelessly to get you on fish and you will get your moneys worth no matter if you have a banner day of fishing or a mediocre one. As they say a “day on the water beats a day in the office”.

Captain and 1st mate great sense of humor. They worked hard and found the fish. Had our limits in 5 hours.

My son wanted a charter for his birthday. The poor captain worked his ass off running back and forth between poles and netting fish. Will definitely book again

Our fishing trip with Ryan was awesome and so much better than previous charter experiences. Captain Ryan has a great personality, and he saw to it that my boys had a fun time. The boat was very clean, and my boys and I were really impressed with his onboard tech. I could tell that Ryan knew the lake well because we reached our catch limit in less than 3 hours! In addition, his rates are very reasonable. If you're looking for a great charter, stop researching now and book a trip with Ryan!

We took my dad out for a morning of walleye fishing for his birthday. We had a great time,Lots of laughs and lots of fish. Learned how to utilize planer boards the correct way. Captain Vince and his chatty mate were a blast, Very down to earth. I would highly recommend Old Timer Charters.We will be booking more trips in the future with them.

Great experience. He got us out there and on them quick. Made constant adjustments and we limited out by noon. Highly recommend.

Our fishing trip with Captain Ryan was amazing. He is so knowledgeable of the area and knows exactly where to go to catch fish. We actually lost count of the fish we caught, but if I had to guess, I would say around 50 to 60. We did a catch and release tour, which explains the abundance of fish we were allowed to catch. We barely got the bait in the water before something was biting. Awesome experience! We would highly recommend Captain Ryan to host your next fishing trip on Lake Erie.

Captain Ryan was everything we thought he would be. We both limited, and we caught some nice sized fish. We’re already thinking about booking in advance for walleye for next year. Youngest got a bit seasick drift fishing, but no fault of Captain Justin! We still had a great time and put some yummy fish in the cooler

Captain Vince and his mate took a lot of time to teach us about the rigging as well as fishing on Lake Erie. They were super friendly. We caught our limit of walleye on a poor fishing time (sunny afternoon on a calm surface). We also landed fish bigger than the other charters at the time. The filleting was good. The fish tasted great. The Cptn and mate knew what they were doing We will definitely charter them again!

Capt Vince was great, he had us on fish within a hour and limited out 5 guys in under the full day. Had two 10 year olds on the trip. The crew was great in making sure they had a great time. Would go with him again
