A couple of weeks ago, three friends and I had a reunion of sorts after not having all been together at the same time for almost twenty years. Capt. Hunter Hoek was the perfect host and worked hard to see that we caught fish and had a great time, which we did. I plan to take my grandsons on his boat in the near future. If you want a child friendly guide & teach Joe DiPietro, Owner of North Georgia Trout Fishing is the guide you want. His focus and ability to communicate with my Grandson was second to none. As well, we caught a excellent mess of fish. Of course, with Joe’s guidence, my grandson out fished me!

Joe shared many tips that will help us hone our trout fishing skills. With high water, we had the river to ourselves. All in all, a fantastic 4 hours. Highly recommend.

Rookie fishers but we had a great time and caught 14 trout! Colby was super chill and patient with us, and we really appreciated all of his help. Snacks and drinks weren’t provided but we had a cooler with our own. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!
