Had a big group of 6 so chose a larger boat. Reel Medicine easily accommodated our group without feeling cramped. Our visitors really wanted to catch a marlin. We started trolling first thing and had a quick couple dorado. Caught one more nice bull an hour later. Spent the remainder of the day trolling for marlin and though we had a couple of hits and numerous stripeys circling our boat snd bait we couldn’t connect. Caught one last dorado at the buzzer. The captain and crew worked their butts off switching baits and chucking live baits when we saw some fins.

I scheduled Reel Medicine for a group of 4 while on spring break. The crew was awesome and we hooked an 8ft Marlin 30 minutes after leaving the dock which I know was extremely lucky, but we will take it.

The day only saw a single Dorado caught in the morning so we are super grateful we caught the Marlin.

Great crew you can’t go wrong with Reel Medicine

We booked a trip on the reel medicine for October 9th for five people. Unfortunately a cyclone hit Cabo that week. The owner Edgardo called me Saturday the 7th and told me it was highly unlikely we would be able to fish on our intended date. He re booked our trip for Friday the 13. Two of our group had to return home before then unfortunately. But the remaining three of us had a excellent trip. The fishing was outstanding. We hooked and lost one marlin and landed and released one marlin. We lost count of how many dorado we caught. The crew cleaned our dorado so we could take it home. The crew and captain of reel medicine are top notch and made our trip one for the books!

Overall great experience.  The crew was a little on the quiet side so there wasn’t much conversation going on with them but they knew what they’re doing to get us fish.  It’s what counts most.  We got to reel in 2 marlins, 2 bonitos, and 1 dorado on an 8-hour trip.  The crew was very helpful when it comes to guiding us how to reel in the fish as most of us had never catch that large of fish before.  As for the boat, I don’t know if this is normal for these size of boats with an inboard motor under the deck or not but the diesel fuel smell is bad.  I have a 20 footer center console boat with a 4-stroke outboard motor and I don’t smell fuel like that.  The deck of this boat is clean with comfortable seating for 6 people.  8 is a bit crowded and so can’t really lie down if we needed to.  Lying down does help from getting more sick from the motion and fuel smell. Going inside the cabin make you sick even more so we all stayed out on deck.

If you’re trying to decide what company to use for your next fishing outing….STOP….look no further. Have used these guys multiple times and will continue using every time we come to Cabo. They pride themselves on giving their customers a great fishing experience and the crew goes above and beyond to catch fish. This is a 5 star experience each time we go.
