Species like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bluefish, Bonito, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Atlantic Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Bluefin Tuna, and more are in the cards, depending on conditions. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with Reel Knotty Charters are child-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to keep ‘em happy!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 36’ Yellowfin center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Bryan will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
