Planning your fishing trip in Panton just got easier, thanks to Woods2Water Fishing Adventures.

You won’t have to travel far to fish these remote lake waters, including a few honey holes that only the locals can clue you in on.

The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, which is what you’ll be doing on the day of your trip. You can also do a bit of bottom fishing, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Braden will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

You’re likely to fish for various types of Bass, Bluefish, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Carp, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Northern Pike, and more, depending on the time of year.

Braden can take groups as large as 4 on this guided experience. You’ll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock, sunglasses, and bottled water in any weather conditions.

This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the whole family along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need. They should always wear life vests, so find out if Braden has the right size available or bring your own.
