Honolulu has a fish with your name on it, so let Magic Sport Fishing help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Russell, bringing aboard years of local experience.

Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Shortbill Spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Russell welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll be casting lines from a 50’ Sportfishing with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
