SaltWalker Sportfishing Charters from Islamorada invite you on an unforgettable adventure. It offers trips for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for just a two-hour inshore trip or a 13-hour Swordfish night trip, the crew has you covered. The trips are available year-round, so there’s always something to catch and fillet.

You’ll be fishing on a custom 45’ Buddy Harris boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. New Cummins QSM11 engine installed in 2019. This offshore vessel is equipped with an air-conditioner, mezzanine seating, bean bags, and two large Yeti coolers for fish and drinks. The boat has a full-size electric flush head, big sofas, a refrigerator, a microwave, and quality tackle including Shimano rods and reels. There are also large dual livewells with three pumps to keep large quantities of live bait in order to maximize your chances of an epic catch.

Depending on which fishing grounds you visit, you can go after different types of Snapper, Shark, and Yellowtail Amberjack. Trolling the offshore spots can get you Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Mackerel, Bonito, and Wahoo. For hard-core anglers, there’s always the Swordfish chase, packed with adrenaline and tight lines.

All fishing equipment and fishing licenses are included in the price. The crew will also clean and fillet your catch. Make sure you pack some food and drinks for the day. Families with children are welcomed aboard.

    A great trip for those who don't want to venture as far offshore and still see some big fish or sharks! Most of these sharks are catch and release only. If you don't want to hook them, you can chum and feed them. This trip is custom to your needs, 2-4 hours. It will depart at 5:00 p.m. but you can take a last-minute trip anytime the day of based on availability. Gratuity is not included. It is customary to tip your captain and mate 15-20% of your trip price.

    The standard Islamorada fishing trip. You'll catch live bait on the reef, troll for everything, or focus on the seasonal species and then drop the anchor for reef action. Experienced anglers, feel free to make requests for certain fish – it won't be like the bad karaoke you experienced the night before! The departure is usually at 7:00 a.m. but you can leave as early as 6:30 a.m. or late as 9:30 a.m. Gratuity is not included. It is customary to tip your captain and mate 15-20% of your trip price.

    Daytime swordfishing is a highly technical form of bottom fishing for one of the most epic creatures to swim the globe. You'll use quality tackle, including LP Reels mounted on custom-built rods by CheckN Bottom and Shimano Tiagra 50Ws. Islamorada has the best opportunity to catch Swordfish anywhere in the world. There are also occasional Mahi and Sailfish and it's possible to do some trolling enroute. Trip is 10 to 12 hours at least, departs between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. 15-20% gratuity is customary.

    This is a big game fishing trip. Before daytime deep-dropping for swordfish became the latest craze in sportfishing Islamorada, nighttime was the way it was done. We fish multiple baits with lights and all of the necessary gear with some extras. It is also possible to see dolphin fish (mahi mahi) and sharks on this trip. Avoid the hot summer sun and book this trip of a lifetime!

I've been fishing since 4 years old with my grandfather and father in lakes up north and the bays of Texas, Offshore all over the Gulf of Mexico since 1998, the Pacific Ocean from Cabo San Lucas to Panama including 3 years in Costa Rica and a season in Cabo to Mag Bay, Guatemala, Isla Mujeres, Florida Keys mainly Islamorada and Key West. Everything from Blue Marlin to Bluegill and just about everything in between. I've run a variety of boats from 16' to 68' fishing boats and some crew boats over 100'.
