We went fishing this morning, with Channel Master Sport Fishing. Since it was my first time off shore fishing, I was very nervous.
Captain Al Cumbie and his First Mate JR made me feel very comfortable and help me catch 2 King Mackerel and put them “in the box”!
They knew where to find the fish and were very accommodating:) Thank you Guys!

I showed up early to my trip with Channel Masters , spoke to Capt Al he asked me my expectations and being an avid fisherman kinda knew what I was looking for. Capt Al explained with the coming off a harvest moon and the tide we were fishing, he explained fishing would be rather slow but we could target my prey with vigor and cut trip short if it looked liked it wasn’t going to happen and we started it out caught a boat load of sailor choice (pinkish) to FWC biologist 🤪🤪got a nice black drum and then things kinda slowed dramatically. We moved to another spot nothing exciting, but listening to the radio we were the only one catching anything!  We cut the trip short were most captains would never do !! But keep you and run out the clock. Capt Al gave me the choice and we went in early and I received a substantial refund (money back) good job Channel masters

Captain Al and his first mate Chris were amazing. We bonded over similar interests and he took us to excellent fishing spots. We threw back more than 30 fish because they weren’t in season but it was still a great time fishing. We kept 4 different types of fish and threw back 2 types of fish. The trip was a great time and we all enjoyed it. My 9 year old was able to help reel in fish and our daughter had a fantastic time. This was her graduation gift that we originally missed due to COVID. We are so glad we did this trip and will come back during a different season to catch other types of fish with Captain Al and Chris.

We just wanted to catch some fish and Captain Al kept us on the fish all day. We also attempted to help a local policeman who had run his boat onto the sand bar, but he was too shallow for us to help.

It was a great, exiting day!

The captain put us on fish about 15 minutes after leaving the marina.  We had a great day with Captain Al and his Mate Grant.  Both were great to work with.  We had a wonderful 6 hours.
