I was in Rockport for another event, and the boys went fishing while the girls went shopping.

In our group, we had one first timer, another rookie, and myself as a fairly experienced fisherman.

Pretty early in the year, and the weather conditions and availability of bait was pretty low so our expectations followed that.  There is no doubt that Tony will work hard for the fish and his clients,  the trout weren’t interested but we did get on to a good bit of Redfish.  Tony worked well with the rookies and taught them the basics of casting and being patient.  The smiles on their faces really said it all.  Despite the early year conditions, Tony was able to get us into enough fish to feed all of us that night.

I’ll definitely reach out to Tony as my guide on my next trip hopefully with better weather and water conditions.

Had a great time with Capt. Tony.  Awesome person very knowledgeable about fishing.  Well worth the money.  You won’t be disappointed.

Captain Tony Gonzalez is great. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He has the best equipment you can ask for. He is very nice and emphasizes safety. I will definitely be back and enjoy his expertise and conversations. We caught two big red drum ant some trout. I know we could have caught more but Saturday’s are crazy with a lot of people fishing.

Great day of fishing,….I’ve got to say, Capt Tony is as much entertaining as he is compassionate about what he does, a true professional.  What a pleasure to take part in such a wonderful experience,……moving forward I’ll be giving Capt Tony a call for all my fishing trips.
