I had a great time fishing for Striped Bass with Captain Jeremy. It was my first time trying this fish and I was amazed by how strong and fast they are. Captain Jeremy was very friendly and helpful, he showed me the best spots and techniques to catch them. He also provided all the gear and bait I needed. The boat was comfortable and spacious, but the weather was foggy and bad. Despite that, Captain Jeremy did his best to make it a fun and productive trip. I caught several nice fish and had a lot of fun. I highly recommend Captain Jeremy for anyone who wants to experience Striped Bass fishing in California. I went on a 6-hour trip with Jeremy to catch striped bass. I had zero experience when I signed up for the trip. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed my time. It was very convenient to hop on the boat in the heart of Seaport, Boston. We caught mackerel to use as bait and caught four striped bass. We had to let bigger fish go and kept two fish, which we cooked for dinner and had a ton of leftovers for future dinners. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and friendly and did everything he could to ensure our experience was great. I can’t recommend the trip highly enough!

Being an early season trip, expectations were low. Capt. Jeremy played it safe to start with some fun flounder fishing. If we had kids with us, that would have been a wonderful way to spend the day as the action was constant. Shortly after boating some nice flounder, we saw some birds working and worked that area over with soft paddle tail swim baits for a few 25-29.5” stripers—very fun! Drifted along a little bit casting SP minnows and paddle tails for a few more striper bites and one more 33” striper in the boat. Capt. Jeremy is very chill and wanted to tailor the trip to us. He had the equipment and knowledge to put us on fish. Pick up and drop off were a breeze and payment was easy! He’d be an excellent choice for a fishing captain if you’re passing through and want to see what fishing Boston has to offer!!
