My family had an enjoyable morning fishing trip with Captain David and Susan.  They were knowledgeable and helpful.  We kept on catching baby fish, including halibut, ray and shark, but Captain David didn’t give up and found a spot so we could catch some big enough fish to take home.  As this was our first sea fishing trip, we were happy to have Captain David and Susan as our guide.  We’ll definitely go with Captain David again in our next fishing trip.

I never write reviews, but had to after fishing with Captain Dave and Bradley. Our family had a great trip and got a personal tour of the bay. Super easy going, cool guys that helped our boys (10 and 7) land bat rays that outweighed them. We had a storm come through the night before and gale-force winds were on the ocean, but Captain Dave knew where to go to find comfortable spots for our family to fish in the bay. Can’t recommend the Warrior Poet and its crew enough. Best part of our SF trip so far!

An excellent day with an excellent crew and other wonderful people fishermen and fisherwomen sharing the day. Bradley you rock! Thank you for your assistance, your knowledge and for your
patience. I hope we did not give you too many fishes to filet! LOL. David, You are the man! The ocean has no secrets for you, no matter how loud the air show was on that day, nor the proximity of the other 100 and some other pleasure boats and fishing ships out there on that holiday week end, you knew exactly where to go and when to reset… We caught our fill of rockfish within a couple of hours or less… And!!! I got my first Halibut. Your patience with this newby here is appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful experience! You and Bradley work very well together as a team and I hope to see you both again real soon for another day of fishing.

I was AMAZED by the crew, the hospitality the help. I got sick immediately and had to lie down the entire trip.. the tended to me, while the Captain and my husband fished. My husband was able to “check one off the bucket list”.
Next, time will be more prepared. We will be back!

We went to celebrate our birthdays and wanted to catch our first halibut that we could eat in the same day. Captain David helped us find parking and taught us so much about fishing in general too as we are new to fishing in the last year. They were super friendly and we had the greatest time. It was memorable for our double birthdays! I definitley plan on doing another trip with Captain David for sure!
