We had a fantastic experience on the water: we saw the Wallops rocket (the June 24, 2022 sounding rocket launch) return to the marina on a fishing vessel while catching flounder, and that was the first 15 minutes of our outing! A few more flounder in the various habitats while exploring shore bird nesting sites gave a good idea of the ebb and flow of the back bay. The opportunity to switch fishing techniques and get close to a small dusky shark before releasing it to the open water was unforgettable! Hearing the lifelong outdoor adventures that brought Captain Tim to Chincoteague made for a great day, topped off by following his advice for preparing and enjoying the freshest catch of the day! Thanks for a wonderful outing!

The weather wasn’t supposed to be the best and Capt Tim gave us an option to continue with the trip or cancel. We decided to continue with the trip and see how the weather played out. I am glad we did. My 2 boys each caught a shark! He was great with guiding them thru how to get the shark to the boat. We also got close to dolphins feeding in the bay, it was an added bonus we didn’t expect. Capt Tim was very knowledgeable in regards to fishing for shark in the area. We did stop our trip a little early due to the weather but it was a joint decision. It was overall a great trip and we will book again with Capt Tim for another chance to catch more sharks and other fish in the area.

Captain Tim was weather alert on a stormy day which allowed us to make the most of our time on the boat.  Captain Tim had a good manner with our fishing interested but inexperienced 10 year coaching him to a successful trip.

All I can say is WOW ! This was my first time booking a charter and I’m so glad it was with Captain Tim! We were hooking up with exactly what we wanted within the first 5 minutes of being out! We caught a huge catch of eater fish along with some nice flounder. Captain Tim was extremely knowledgeable and helpful getting us acquainted with the fishing gear. He was down to earth and understanding when we got smashed a few times. It was such an awesome expiriemce!

Captain Tim was great - took the little bit of input we gave him and made a great morning trip for our whole family. We went to several different spots, and had varying levels of luck. Caught croakers big enough to keep, some king fish, one sizeable flounder (dinner!). Our 10yo daughter took the rod for the shark, and Captain Tim guided her expertly through the process of bringing it in. It was a dusky shark, so it had to go back, but the pictures, smiles and experience were great! Wouldn’t hesitate to take another trip with Captain Tim, he made our first charter trip a great one.
