We had a great experience for our first time fishing on a boat with Luis. Everything was prepared by him before we got there, and he knew of several spots to try for fish. He landed us a 15 lb snook that my 5 year old had a fantastic time reeling in. Luis also went to great length to make sure my 8 year old still had a great time despite not catching anymore fish, (that’s how it goes- great lesson in patience while fishing). Had an awesome trip with Capt. Luis. He was able to get me on my first and second tarpon ever! We then went to the bay and got me on the biggest Jack Cevelle I’ve ever caught and did everything he could to try and get me on a snook for a Puerto Rico grand slam. Was even able to hand feed tarpon in the marina when we got back in. Overall an incredible trip for my first time fishing in Puerto Rico.

This was the second time my son and I used Bayside. I predict there will be a third.  There was an issue with the baitfish (not a lot available). I can’t blame the guide for that.  He did everything possible to get us on the fish. My son lost a tarpon close to the boat.  That is sad as he went on to catch a snook and a jack crevalle. Recommend this company.

Great time on the water. Although fish weren’t biting as we’d like, my son and I were given a great experience. We did manage to catch a snook, but the views and time on the water were just as plentiful.
