Such an amazing experience. I booked this trip as a birthday gift for my partner. I’ve never been fishing before, but by the end of the trip Arthur did so well with showing me how to fish I think I’m a pro now!
It was such a lovely time worth EVERY penny. Our captain was super knowledgeable and educated in everything! He ensured we each caught a fish and when I couldn’t catch a fish he went out of his way to stop at popular spot so i could see if could catch one.

Non stop action all morning, highly recommend getting out with Captain Arthur Cortes if you’re interested in going after the resident blues and striped bass of Jamaica Bay. Very knowledgeable captain that educated us all morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better outing and can’t wait to get out with him again on my next trip.

On a gusty day when the fish were reluctant to bite, Captain Arthur Cortes worked hard and moved to many spots to make sure we each landed some.  He also taught me important points about fly-casting in the wind. This is a fine trip for two people and six hours is just about perfect for finding the action and having fun but not ending up exhausted and cold

My biggest striper ever - longer than the tape measure on Capt. Cortes’ boat. The fishing was tough, but Arthur got us into the ones that counted. A big thank you! I’ll be back.
