The boat and crew were great. The fishing experience was unsatisfactory for the price. First day, 1/2 day trip on Monday, was clear weather and we didn’t even get a bite. We trolled back and forth in the same area about 6-8 miles out. Second day, 3/4 day on Saturday, we did exactly the same thing trolling back and forth in the same area as Monday. The weather was less cooperative, some rain here and there, but not bad. We did have one bite early in the trip but lost it. After the one bite, we have nothing for the other 4 and 1/2 hours. The strategy was the same, fishing with lures and same area.

I can not commend on the 1/2 day trip on Monday, because that was not on our boat. The way you fish in these waters is by trolling. At this time of year we fish for Marlin, Wahoo, because they are in season. I am happy to hear that you did get a bite. On yesterdays charter they caught a 75 pound Wahoo. Maybe next time you’ll catch more. During the winter month we fish for Mahi Mahi, which come in schools and there you are able to hook a few. Thank you for sharing

What a day! The captain and deck hand were amazing. Kept us well informed on every move we made. Hooked a couple of fish and lost one gue to fisherman error. The captain did everything he could to get us on the fish. They call it fishing not catching and some days you just don’t hook one every time. I would book with this crew any day. Great job guys!
The boat was very nice. The staff was awesome. I don’t know if my expectations are unreasonable but we didn’t do any actual fishing. The crew set the fishing poles. We troweled the entire time. We never touched the fishing pole. Essentially, we had a very nice boat ride. Again the staff was awesome but I am bummed with the fishing experience.
Good morning. When you go deep sea fishing, we troll the waters. With 4 lines out and a teaser line. You don’t touch the pole until you get a hit/bite. Then the Crew hooks up the line to the pole and you sit in the fighting chair and start fighting the fish. The Captain gave a briefing where he explained that fishing is done by trolling. He moves the boat at about 7 knots, so with this movement the bait jumps in and out of the water to attract the fish to bite. This is the way deep sea fishing is done in these waters. I am sorry you didn’t get a bite, but that happens sometimes. Better luck next time
