Had a great trip. Caught some Mackerel and Snappers. Smaller boat makes it a little rough on the water but we caught fish. Capt. Robert cleaned the fish better than Hannibal Lector. Brought them back to Missouri and checked them again. Didn’t find a single bone. Cut the Mackerel filets thin and fried in Andy’s. . Flaky white fish was delicious.
Captain was on time and put us on fish despite the bad weather
My dad and I had a great time with Captain Robbie! Tropical storm Eta was causing issues but we still caught atleast three 30lb+ Reds. Capt. Robbie tried several places to make sure we caught variety.
I am Always grateful for what we catch. I just would have loved a few more species of gamefish. It’s a little off this fall, due to the extreme amount of fresh water that inundated our bay and inshore Gulf waters. I loved this trip anyhow because we did get world class red fish, but mainly the two anglers made the trip!
Captain Robert was very knowledgeable and kne where the fish where. We maxed out snapper and also got a flat head. We lost twice as many took a minute to get the idea on salt water. Great time overall, if you want to fill your cooler this is the boat. The only fish that aren’t in my cooler we missed.
Captain Robby was fantastic. Took us right to where the fish for waiting for us. Many other groups struggled. Not us! Make sure you tip the Captain. He’s worth it.
