We got off earlier than expected which is always good. Unfortunately with the cold front that came in earlier in the week, the fishing was a little off and didn’t really explode like we all hoped for. Nonetheless captain Sam moved us around and we were able to land some fish which made the trip even more enjoyable. We also got to see manatees, porpoises and rays which was cool. Hopefully next time we can time things better and the weather cooperates a little better.
Our captain, Samuel, went way out of his way to help ensure that we had an excellent trip. The weather wasn’t great that day, and most captains were canceling, but we did not have another day to go fishing, and Samuel made it work for us. We appreciate his excellent knowledge and skills in fishing as well. Highly highly recommend!
My sons had never been out fishing on a boat and this was their first experience. Needless to say, they want to return. The experience was awesome as Sam saw to it that we all had a great time. Highly recommended!
Capt Samuel is great. Had a blast caught some great fish and he was awesome with my son and his friend. They both want to be charter captains now. If you are in the Tampa area I would book a trip everyday with him. Looking forward to our next one! I could say a lot more but you really need to go out fishing with him to appreciate what he does.
You can tell that Captain Sam is very passionate about fishing. He guides multiple teams and tournaments and can also take you bird watching. If your interested in deep fishing, Sam is your man! We didn’t do that on this trip. Not even 10 minutes into fishing we cause at a 31” redfish./ There was no tide! Captain Sam has some tricks up his sleeve to try and lure fish to the boat. He prides himself on keeping fishing action packed and it shows.
