Beschreibung des Ausflugs

With the heat staying the bite is still red hot. The Tomoka Basin in Ormond Beach is producing Redfish, Trout, Snook, and Tarpon. You can catch these on live finger mullet and shrimp right now. While Daytona Beach the surf fishing has been pretty good with Whiting, I would use fresh dead shrimp or clams. Port Orange and Ponce Inlet areas are getting some Mangrove Snapper on the larger side up to 15″ along with Snook, Redfish, Jacks, and Trout. All can be caught on small finger mullet and shrimp. The Halifax River has the shrimp run going right now. You can find them on the channel ledges by using your depth finder to locate the clumps of shrimp traveling down that ledge.
