Beschreibung des Ausflugs

I had the opportunity to take Rick and Ray Herman fishing this morning, for our first trip after a month of wind. We dropped some Clark spoons down as we left the inlet and right away one rod went down and just as fast, the fish came off. I thought this is not a great start to the morning! A couple of minutes later another rod went down and this time Rick was able to boat a real nice Spanish mackeral. We headed offshore to the edge to get away from the green water, but the north west wind pushed us out into the deep so I headed back into 90' and we started picking away at small muttons. The sharks were brutal, any large bottom fish got eaten or at best we got back the head. We picked up a king on a flat lined live mullet and then had a couple of king bite offs as we were dropping baits down The wind was picking up and had pushed us south to the inlet so we called it quits at noon time and ran back in.
