Capt Jonathan and the Moya family Left the dock and went straight to the Murrell park area on the North bank. The Seagulls were working bait fish being pushed to the surface by White Bass. The group dropped down RSR Lures jigging spoons and started putting keepers in the box. Capt Jonathan then left Murrell and caught a few more keepers at another area up the lake. Watching the Gulls is the key right now. The Moya family of three easily caught 100 fish with 36 keepers. Captain Don had a super fun day with a beautiful family. They caught quite a few good sized White Bass with a lot of undersized fish mixed in. The fish are hungry, and they bit all afternoon long. These fish are in the mode of eating morning, noon, or evening. Our captain can take you out on a 4 hour trip that starts when it is convenient for you anytime of day. Come out and enjoy the great weather and load up for a fish fry.

The White Bass on Lake Grapevine has put on the sping feed bag and are readily taking our baits. The fish haven't settled into any particular depth pattern and are scattered, but we are still finding plenty of fish for our clients to catch!

I have heard the question, "How does a child spell love?" The answer given was "t i m e". As fishing guides, our captains see that played out on almost every trip. Moms, dads, grandpas and grandmas want to not just tell the kids they love them, they have a deep desire to show them as well. All of us get caught up in work, careers, and life in general. We are human and can forget how time is a limited resource. For myself, my New Year's resolution, is to spend the time I have wisely in loving my family and friends. Fishing is an endeavor that is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Time together as a family is time well spent that pays dividends in the form of memories.
