The trolling continues to be outstanding around Ft. Morgan and Dauphin Island. When we haven’t been hammering the Spanish Mackeral and Bonito while trolling near Ft. Morgan, I’ve been running a few inshore trips around the south end of Mobile Bay when the weather would cooperate. Sight fishing for Tripletail has been decent, but the Speckled Trout bite has been GREAT. Occasionally, we’ve been rudely interrupted by a school of BIG Jack Crevalle while fishing Mobile Bay, and while Jacks are fun to catch, they’re not much for table fare.
