Although grouper season is in, the grouper fishing we have on the east coast typically isn't that good truthfully. We have so many red snapper, it's really difficult to get to the grouper for the red snapper. The further offshore you get, 10hrs plus, the better your chances are for grouper. This is the best time of year for dolphin, but those are 60 miles plus offshore. The bottom fishing is phenomenal out there also for beeliners, triggerfish, red porgy, amberjack, etc...
