Had a call around noon for a afternoon trip. Ran down to the boat loaded up with rod,tackle and bait and hit the water around 2:30. Started out with 2 nice 21",19" trout and a ton of shorts all on plastic. Bite turned off and we changed pace for redfish. Was a grind but we got one nice 24" red on a quick drift. Ran back to deep water tossed out our bait for trout and finished strong with a limit and a half of trout and one nice redfish. 4 hours of fishing. The Shallow Sport 21' Sport ran in some super skinny water across a flat in low tide and the Mercury 150 fourstroke was quiet and had all the power we needed to blow out of 10" of water after our drift.
