The black drum bite has been hot for 7 weeks here in the Stuart area. Average fish is 3-5 lbs with a few topping 10. Most redfish we have been catch have been in the 18-27 " slot or above. Tripletail bite is picking up with fish up to 20lbs. Sheepshead are starting to show themselves and the bite will increase through March. Our winter-spring species of pompano, spanish mackerel and bluefish has started. Snook can be found in the inlet and area docks and bridges. Look for bonefish and flounder to pick up near Christmas.
