Neue Niagara River Angelberichte

With anticipation of another hot humid day, I suggested to my clients a much earlier start. And it paid off. All walleye strikes were before 8:30 am. Air temperature 92 degrees, river temperature, 72°. West winds. 10 to 15 miles an hour caught bass on 3 way rigs and crayfish, and 3 way rigs trolling plugs.

Morning casting in shallow water for bass, bonus time....salmon crushes a stick bait explodes on the surface and fight is on. As day progressed winds became more of a problem out of the west. Bluebird skies and upper 80s air temperature. 3 ways with crabs . Then trolled with with plugs. All took bass and lost a giant walleye.

River temperature 71 degrees, air temperature near 80 degrees. River had good color. Bass found 18 to 22 fow. 3 way rig and crayfish. Trolled worm harnesses for walleye towards the end and picked up one.

No wind whatsoever. Air temperature 75 degrees, water clarity near perfect jigged the niagara bar and the upper sections of the lower river, our biggest fish was twenty eight inches, which earned my client nolan third place in the fish odyssey.

Great bass bite on live bait, slower drifts were on fire. Evening walleye produced 2 really nice fish that put these kids up on the leader board for greater niagara fish oddessy. River is cooler at 73.6 degrees, however sw winds kept us tucked in to find slower water. Air temp 78 degrees and humid water clarity slightly cloudy.
