Redfish Run in Full Swing

The redfish run is an absolute full swing. Cold weather and beautiful days out on the water catching these brutes. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Inshore Fishing picking back up!

With some extreme weather and winds we’ve had lately we’ve been focusing on bull reds. But, we are getting some beautiful days now cleaning up the bays water and inshore fishing is picking back up right where it left off! Weather is finally allowing us to target trout, redfish, sheepshead drum and more!

We thank every customer for keeping us busy and allowing us to do this. We’ve been working hard this month and it has been an absolute blast so far. Even with some of the extreme winds we are having some epic days catching these giant redfish. They are definitely in full swing. Hope to see some new familiar faces fishing with us soon. The run is on.

Reds for everyone!

Over 25 reds were caught and released today! A few were kept for the grill. These are thick right now in Galveston - book yoru trip and let’s get out on the water!

The giant red fish of fall have finally made a pretty solid showing this past week. The bite is better right around tide swings and you can get some solid fish. Fishing with fresh pogies and live piggy perch gets its done.

Fishing is a gamble. We were very lucky that we caught some fish, but we did catch them towards the end of our trip We are from Washington state and when they said it was going to be warm out on the water I had no idea that it could be as hot as it was. We definitely didn’t need coats or the winter ski hat I brought ? Make sure you bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.
