Redfish, Sheepshead, Black Drum and more were biting well this past week!

Today, I took out new neighbors named Rob and Ryan to target Sheepshead, Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Snook. Even through the cold air and water temps, we managed to pull out tons of Redfish, some Black Drum, and too many keeper sized Sheepshead to count. Thanks for booking! Today I took Elijah and his father out on a 6 hour trip. Despite the low tide, strong winds, and cool water, we had an action packed day. We went through 250 shrimp and 30 fiddler crabs. Not only did we catch tons of smaller redfish, flounder, etc. but we also caught over 30 sheepshead, with one of them being Elijah's biggest one so far at 18 3/4 inches. Today was action-packed with redfish, black, drum and sheepshead. We were using live shrimp as well as artificial swimbaits by Salt Strong called the Slam Shady! Emma got her biggest redfish today!

A reoccuring client and I went out and found a stack of speckled trout on the flats. They were crushing swimbaits and topwaters all evening. The biggest trout was right at 20 inches!

Today, I went out with a repeat client, whose become a good friend named Joe. We got on some nice sheepshead and redfish with live shrimp and fiddler crabs inside the canals. Joe got to take some fresh fish home to make tacos! Once again, we had a great time getting on some fish!
