As hard water (ice fishing) comes to an end and boat ramps aren’t quite open yet, Lowry Outdoor Adventures hits the shorelines with waders and fishing rod in hand in search of “Trophy Walleye”. The fall can be a great time to get into numbers of white bass, with the chance at some reaching 17”. Was out this morning and caught over 60 white bass in the first 90 min on the lake.

Many people call august the dog days of summer, it should be called the wiper days. The bite for wipers ar Jackson had been really good with most fish in the 17-19” range. Still have opening later half of the month for trips out there.

We've added 2 new lakes in Loveland area that we will be guiding in 2021 - Lon Hagler and Boedecker. These two lakes add some exciting opportunities for crappie, white bass, largemouth bass, some walleye, trout, and northern pike. April is a great time for the crappie and white bass with a few walleyes mixed in. May is good for everything. June and July have good bass fishing with a chance at some pike. August can be good evening bass fishing.

The temptures say we are in the dog days of summer but the walleyes are still biting good. Several lakes still have good live bait and/or trolling bites that should continue into August.

Made it out on the ice at Boyd today, while getting off the shoreline ice had gone bad in most area. With the temps this week I’m putting away my ice gear and getting the boat ready. Lake should open to boating Mar 1
