On the Hook Monday, April 8th / Bajo Rosa Blanca Catches: 5 Striped Marlin Strikes: 16 Water Temperature: 26 degrees Celsius Tuesday, April 9th Catches: 7 Strikes: 18 Water Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius Wednesday, April 10th Catches: 7 and 1 Blue Marlin weighing 7 quintals Strikes: 26 Water Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius Most of them were Striped Marlin. All released

Marlin Insanity 2018

The 2018 Marlin season has been insane. Since May 07, 2018 we hit the NE Santa Cruz Island seamount and experienced Marlin action that hadn't been seen in the Galapagos Islands for years. Finally, the Marlin season in the Galapagos has made history in the Marlin community again, with multiple hook set and releases events. In May and June alone we had some amazing numbers with 300+ raises in the spread, 72+ Bites and 38 releases (35 Striped Marlin and 3 Blue Marlin). Join us for some incredible Galapagos Island Big Game Fishing and help us make histor!

Juan and his crew Luis and Jorge were great! We had a terrific time on the boat ,the fishing was slow but the crew did everything they could including going out 50 miles to try for blue Marlin. We did catch a nice Derado and getting to know Juan was an extra benefit. The boat and gear were first class and would recommend La Chiqui to anyone who wants a great fishing experience in the Galapagos or off the coast of Equador.
